At Quick Value Offers we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are. We work in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Note: Quick Value Offers is operated by a company registered outside the Netherlands. We sell directly to consumers in the Netherlands and the EU under distance selling rules. Your European consumer rights apply in full.

What data do we collect?

When you visit our webshop, create an account or place an order, we collect the following data:

  • Contact details: name, address, email address, phone number
  • Order details: products, prices, billing details, shipping address
  • Payment data: processed directly by our payment providers (Shopify Payments and PayPal) - we don't see full card numbers
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, cookies
  • Communications: emails, chat messages and form submissions you send us

Why do we process your data?

  • Performance of the contract: to handle, ship, invoice and provide customer service for your order
  • Legal obligation: for example, accounting, fiscal record-keeping and fraud prevention
  • Legitimate interest: to improve our website, prevent abuse and keep the store secure
  • Consent: for marketing emails, personalized offers and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Who do we share your data with?

Only when necessary, we share data with carefully selected partners:

  • Shopify - our webshop infrastructure
  • Payment providers - Shopify Payments and PayPal
  • Shipping partners - PostNL, DHL, DPD and other carriers that deliver your order
  • Email platform - for sending order confirmations and (with consent) newsletters
  • Analytics - Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics (anonymized where possible)

We have data processing agreements with all of these parties laying out GDPR requirements. We never sell your data to third parties.

Transfer outside the EU

Some of our processors (such as Shopify) have servers outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, the transfer is based on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission to keep your data protected.

How long do we keep your data?

  • Customer and order data: 7 years (legal retention requirement)
  • Email address for marketing: until you unsubscribe
  • Technical logs and cookies: maximum 14 months

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

  • Access: know what data we hold about you
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure: have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restriction: restrict processing
  • Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Data portability: receive your data in a common file format

You can submit a request via support@quickvalueoffers.com. We respond within 30 days. For verification we may ask for a copy of your ID (with sensitive details masked).

Cookies

We use functional, analytical and - with your consent - marketing cookies. You can adjust your preferences at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of the website.

Submitting a complaint

If you feel we don't handle your data properly, we'd like to hear about it directly first. If we can't resolve it together, you can submit a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Changes

We may update this privacy policy. Substantial changes will be announced on our website. The current version is always on this page.
